ten virgins were composed of five foolish virgins and five wise.

Ten Virgins

Christ gives us a parable of His coming similar to ten virgins waiting for their bridegroom.

Matthew 25:1

Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

Matthew 25:2
Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.

Oil flask for storing fuel, all ten vigins had lamps, but only the fivwe wise had extra oil.

Matthew 25:3
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,

Matthew 25:4
but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps.

Matthew 25:5
Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.

The bridegroom that is delaying is our Lord Yeshua/Jesus.  The virgins are the Christians waiting for His return and the rapture.  So many years have gone by since Yeshua went to heaven that many believers have gotten "drowsy" and are sleeping as far as perceiving that the return of the Lord is imminent. That is because there are no signs. Christ cannot give us a warning. Otherwise, Satan would know that Jesus is coming. Remember that our Lord comes like a thief in the night.

Matthew 25:6
But at midnight there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.'

The shout is proclaimed by the watcher.  In a similar manner, we are proclaiming that Yeshua is returning for the rapture.

Matthew 25:7
Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.

Oil lamp necessary for travel

Matthew 25:8
The foolish said to the prudent, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'

Matthew 25:9
But the prudent answered, 'No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.'

The prudent virgins had with them whatever supplies they deemed were necessary for their trip.  The foolish virgins decided that they would be better off if they went out to get some oil.

Word of advice.  You will not have time to go and get anything.  Our Lord Yeshua is very specific about this.

Matthew 25:10
And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

Prudent virgins going to meet their bridegroom

Matthew 25:11
Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.'

Matthew 25:12
But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'

Once the door is shut, nobody can come in.  It is like Noah shutting the door of the Ark.  I can imagine many climbed on top of the Ark trying to escape the rising waters, but Noah did not open the door.  The same will happen when the angels come to rescue the Christians.  You need to be mentally prepared to depart immediately.  You cannot have second thoughts.  It will be swift as lightning

Matthew 25:13
Keep on the watch therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour.

This warning is given to us because we are not given the day nor the hour.  Christ is coming like a thief in the night. Remember the Parable of the Ten Virgins.  We are not given any signs, but the man with no law mentioned in the Bible is revealed before Christ comes. Brothers and Sisters, Jesus will rapture us. His return is soon.
