Do you ever wonder why God says:

Revelation 12:9
“And the great dragon was cast out, that ancient serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Most of what you see on television is lies, and I am not just talking about a TV series. Television and Hollywood movies are notorious for using computer generated images (CGI). These movies portray things that could never happen in reality.

Actors live through car crashes that are impossible for anyone to survive. Your internal organs would explode. A stunt man jumps  from a building onto a moving car and nothing happens to him. He does not break his legs or slide away from the car.

Not only are the images fake, but the sounds in movies are fake as well.

Foley walkers make the sound of foot falls so real that they can fool the average person. Still, you do understand that most shoes do not make a "clomp, clomp" noise.

Sounds that you hear in TV shows or movies are often not present in the real environment, but later added in to make the show more exciting.

I have been out in nature, and you hear no sound when a deer moves its ears. Do you hear a sound when your cat moves its ears? I do not think so.

These sound effects are used to make the film production more dramatic, but it is a lie that is meant to fool you.

I will give you another example to illustrate my point:

Often in a nature show you hear a snake gliding on grass. However, in reality there is no noise. If there were, it would alert the prey; the snake would be a lot less effective in sneaking up on its target. In a similar way, Satan sneaks up on you. Just be on the alert to what his traps are.

Satan likes to create these lies as there is no truth in him, but he does try to make the sounds similar to what you would expect. For example, you do not hear a rabbit roar. If you hear snarling and howling, it comes from a wolf, not a mouse. Often, the devil mixes lies and truth to better deceive you.

You might ask how this affects us. When I was a boy, I liked to watch cowboy movies. I never did see the hero stop shooting to reload his six gun; it would spit out an endless supply of bullets with amazing accuracy.

Instead, the robbers and the police were always shooting guns. What I did not know is that the average police man will fire his gun at a criminal only once in his entire life.

Do remember that sounds used in movies are often not the real ones, because Hollywood wants to make things more dramatic for us. Lies are seen as more exciting than reality.

As a consequence of watching videos full of lies, people have brains that are full of lies, and reality has become increasingly more entangled with fantasy, to the point that people confuse the real with the fake, and at many times choose falsehood as truth.

Satan is the father of lies. He was a murderer from the beginning. What does this mean?.

John 8:44
You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn't stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Christ goes on to say:

John 8:45
Yet, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.

Certainly, this does not make a lot of sense. Why would they believe the Devil who is a liar and not believe Yeshua/Jesus who is the author of truth?

OK, so I will try to explain it to you. There was a person who liked to eat fake strawberry ice cream. It had artificial red color and artificial strawberry flavor, no seeds, and an intense pink color. She was given real strawberry ice cream, but instead of welcoming it with joy, she did not like it because it tasted wrong to her. She had been conditioned to accept the counterfeit and reject the real one. The natural strawberry flavor and odor is not exactly duplicated by the artificial ones, but it can fool the average person.

By being exposed to lies and forgeries over a period of time, people get used to it so that the true and genuine they do not enjoy. Still, artificial strawberry flavoring has a strange metallic, bitter after taste. That is because it contains ethyl butyrate which is much cheaper than fruit. In addition, the ice cream has other added chemicals to make it more creamy. Most of them cause cancer. However, the manufacturers do not care. All they want is to make higher profits at your cost -- your health and your life. 

Adam paid with his eternal life. 

Remember that the first sin had to do with EATING.

Genesis 3:6
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Satan told Eve that the fruit from the tree of knowledge was good, but he is a liar and we still suffer the consequences. Eve died and so do we. The forbidden fruit looked pleasant and tasted good, but the result was death.

That is what occurs when we follow Satan's way. He uses deception to trick you. Do not go by the outward appearance. Look deeper into what is going on. In contrast, truth does not have to be pretty, as it simply is.

Understand that most lies start small and grow. They tend to creep up on you. Yeshua/Jesus told the truth to the Pharisees, but they hated him because they were sinners, and they did not want to change their ways. When Christ told the Pharisees that they were offspring of vipers it was painful because it was true.

Matthew 23:33
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?

Pharisees were hypocrites, similar to people who now support abortions and are pro-choice. Choice to kill an innocent little baby? What choice does the little baby have? These people are not only hypocrites, they are murderers and evil to the core. They hate anyone who confronts them with their sin, because it is painful.

People who steal claim that they are taking from the rich who have plenty. Therefore they hate anyone who confronts them with their sin.

It is the same with homosexuals. They have convinced themselves that their lifestyles are OK, and anyone who disagrees is wrong. Therefore, these sinful people hate anybody who tells them the truth -- that they are sinners. 

Liberals approve of all these sins because they themselves enjoy sin and find solace among people like themselves. That is why they hate Christians. These liberals, who nowadays call themselves "progressives," do not want to hear the truth because it is painful, as they do not want to change their evil ways. 

That is why the Pharisees crucified Yeshua/Jesus.

Mark 15:12-14
So Pilate asked them again, “What then do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?” And they shouted back, “Crucify Him!”  “Why?” asked Pilate. “What has He done wrong?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”

This shows us that most of the people in the crowd were not with Yeshua/Jesus; they did NOT believe his message; they did not repent of their sins, instead they preferred to continue in the lie and doing their evil deeds.
