Politicians love to place new taxes on us. Actually, the carbon tax is just one. They claim this tax will reduce global warming. Frankly, we feel that a new mini ice age is near.

However, I expect politicians to keep talking about global warming... like until all hell freezes over. They constantly find new ways to tax us.

God talks about the time of the end and He says there will be signs.

Luke 21:11
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

However, we notice that He did not talk about the problems associated with sea level rise. There is no part in the Bible that talks about coastal cities being swallowed up by our enormous ocean. I see no part that talks about the melting of the polar ice cap.

People point to this bible verse:

Luke 21:25
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.

Well, it does not talk about our great cities being drowned by sea level rise. Instead, it sounds like a giant tsunami hits us. That makes sense. God talks about great earthquakes coming.

Liberals claim that only a carbon tax can save us. That is funny as I still remember talk about a tax on gas. Oh yes, this was during the 70's energy crisis. Basically, the liberals told us that we were running out of gas. OK, so their solution was a one dollar per gallon tax on gas.

I still remember being told that we would hit peak oil in 2005 and run out by 2020, except that here we are. I can look out the window and see plenty of cars running on gas. Peak oil was a fraud and a scam.

Right now the governor of California plans to ban the sale of new gas cars. Interesting how life is. There are currently shortages of electricity in California now. Maybe, we should first build new power plants to accommodate more electric cars. Ah yes, this is certainly some worrisome news.

Brothers and sisters, I believe we are going into a period similar to the Maunder minimum. In fact, we could have a mini ice age. Perhaps, we should remember that global warming lengthens our growing season. However, a mini ice age would cause widespread famine as food production would decline in a dramatic way.

Right now we are may soon enter a solar minimum. That could trigger a mini ice age. Reducing our carbon dioxide emissions will not help us. Fact is, methane is a far more powerful greenhouse gas. Often, it is created in marshes and swamps. These bogs use to be quite abundant years ago. Most were cleaned up to build houses and prevent mosquitoes that can transmit disease organisms.

Also, we will probably will have a lot more volcanic eruptions in the catastrophic coming years. For example, back in 1815, the Tambora explosion led in 1816 to a year with no summer. It also did cause a tsunami that was massive. OK, so major crop failures were worrisome. That is certainly a lot more worrisome... than seeing global temperatures going up a few degrees - oh yes, a lot more scary. Fine volcanic dust filled the air. People faced a long cold winter as well as no summer.

I will not try to sugar coat it for you. Expect the next few years... to be a challenge for all of us.
