Vaccination Against Parent's Will

There is a bill in the hands of Governor Jerry Brown of California which allows girls as young as 12 years old to be vaccinated against human papilloma virus (HPV) without the need of any parental consent. The manufacturers of the vaccine, amongst them Merck Corp, makers of Gardasil, would be very happy if this bill could pass. They would be making millions of dollars out of unsuspecting adults. If the bill passes, these girls would be vaccinated in the schools, pressured by teachers and principals that this is something good for them... that it could prevent them from having cervical cancer.

If this is such a great vaccine, why are they doing it in such a sneaky way? Well, in 2007 a bill was introduced requiring vaccination for HPV in school girls entering sixth grade, but it was withdrawn. So now Merck has lobbied ferociously in another attempt to market their vaccine. This new bill (AB 499) was introduced by Assembly Member Toni Atkins, (D-San Diego) and passed the California Assembly in May and the State Senate in August. Governor Brown has until Oct 9, 2011 to make his decision of either signing it into law or rejecting it.

Many religious organizations oppose this legislation. One reason is, that this law would take away the right of the parents to supervise their children. Also, by law, a twelve year old is not able to give her consent. This is why she is not allowed to buy beer or drive a car. This attempt to vaccinate young girls promotes immorality. The message is: "fornication is ok... you will be protected from acquiring disease."

Well, fornication is not ok. and people get many diseases from having sex with multiple partners. First, gardasil only covers 4 strains of human papilloma virus. There are over 100 other strains which can also cause cancer of the cervix or genital warts. Second, there are other sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV -- a deadly disease with no vaccine that people can get by having sex with diseased partners. Third, chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis have increased out of proportion in the last ten years... all due to encouraging fornication by the public school system with the idea that all you need to do is wear a condom.

Christian parents need to stand up and protest to safe guard the lives of their children. The way to avoid sexually transmitted diseases is to refrain from fornication. Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles said recently: “Parents have a fundamental right and duty to be responsible for their children’s physical and spiritual well-being. Children have a fundamental right to the guidance and protection of their parents.” “This legislation would deny those rights.” Archbishop Gomez is urging Governor Brown to veto the bill.

Thomas Roberts, an expert in Child and Family Development said: "To put this responsibility on a 12 year-old seems very irresponsible." "My belief is that we should have laws that bring parents and children together not create laws that separate them even more."

In contrast, Vince Hall with Planned Parenthood said: “The government cannot stop people from becoming sexually active but the government through the passage of a bill like AB 499 can make sure that those teens are safe and healthy.”

These are the words of somebody from "the world." Mr. Hall would never say that fornication is a sin. I doubt he is a Christian, because the organization Planned Parenthood is in the business of encouraging young girls to get abortions -- a way to kill a person with the approval of the law of the land, but with the condemnation of God Almighty.

Morality in Schools

Sadly, Satan is moving all his resources to deceive ... now unsuspecting little girls ... to believe that to sin is ok because our government will provide a vaccine that will keep them healthy. It is very sad that public schools have the money to counsel these girls about this decision... but do not have the money or the will to counsel them about how wrong it is to indulge in premarital sex.

God is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. His law has been the same for man since Adam's creation.

In the time of Jesus, the Pharisees brought Him a woman caught in the act of adultery and they wanted to stone her to death.

John 8:4
They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

John 8:5
Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

John 8:6
This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with [his] finger wrote on the ground, [as though he heard them not].

John 8:7
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

And they which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

John 8:10
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.

The answer to our problems is not vaccines against human papilloma virus, but to keep away from sin. We as Christians are confronted with moral issues and the thrust behind this bill is to keep parents from counseling their children about the right way to live. The government (led by Satan himself) is making a statement loud and clear: "Children can sin and vaccines will take away the repercussion of the sin." The government is going to pay (with the taxpayer's money) for those sins as it is already doing for some of the children's "mistakes" (AKA unwanted pregnancies) with abortions.

It is time for Christian parents to take their children to Christian schools away from the influence of Satan.
