Work

Work is a necessary part of our daily existence in this universe. Often we get tired and do wish that the weekend came sooner.

I still remember that kids in school looked down on manual labor for some reason. This is interesting, as Jesus Christ was a carpenter and many of the apostles were fisher men.

When I was in elementary school, the kids saw work as pain. They had a low opinion of workers for some reason. This is a hierarchical system with the working class as the lowest class there is. Being a bank vice president where you make money from usury - is seen as far superior to being a construction worker that builds houses for people to live in.

Exodus 22:25
If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.

Well, I do not agree. Creating residences for people to live in... that is far better than lending people money.

Hey, that is simply not so.  Being the president of a bank does not make you superior.

Sadly, we have a hierarchical system on earth, but it is not same in other parts of our universe.

God judges people on their actions and not on their money or power.

Romans 2:6
who will pay back to everyone according to their works:

This bible verse is important for us. In fact, we should try live our lives according to God's law as we shall all appear before the  Judgment Seat of God where He will either reward or punish us.

Fork
I  have heard the expression "FARM TO FORK" and this saying is common. Few people understand how much work is required to produce food and ship it to a grocery.

Most folks do not understand that the animals need to be fed even when temperatures dip below zero. It might seem like an idyllic existence to those who have never been there, but the reality is far worse.

Living on a family farm is not easy. The daily chores are many.

A problem that farmers are having is that fuel prices are excessive. Diesel fuel is over six dollars a gallon and gasoline is over four dollars a gallon right now. Most farms are in remote areas. This creates a hardship for farmers as they have to pay more.

The other day I bought a dozen organic pasture raised eggs. It was $11.99, that is almost one dollar per egg. I used to pay four dollars for a dozen eggs. Prices have shot up.

House prices have also gone up. People are having a hard time now.

Most people do worry about high gas prices. Those prices could continue to go up.
