Terrorism -- how does it
affect your future |
America is beginning to realize that the enemy is within and the enemy acts
without previous notice. The Arab terrorists are striking back sending
anthrax-laced letters to unsuspecting civilians, making sure that no American
feels safe.
Bin Laden declared that the war on the infidels (Christians
and Jews) would continue, and that no American would live in safety.
America is fighting terrorism within by passing new legislation.
Addressing the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Attorney General John
Ashcroft said on Thursday, Oct 25, 2001 that the new
legislation against terrorism would greatly enhance the powers of
law enforcement officers.
Ashcroft said that he would guide all U.S. prosecutors and
FBI offices to use their expanded powers to wiretap phones,
monitor Internet traffic and apprehend suspects.
Members of Congress are concerned that the new law could end up
destroying the civil liberties enjoyed by all
Americans.
Before the Messiah comes to rescue us, the conditions on this planet
have to deteriorate as far as restriction of civil liberties. Read Mark of the
Beast.
The disappearance of money (contaminated with germs), the disappearance of regular mail (already
contaminated with anthrax spores) and the disappearance of printed newspapers are
future events necessary to make the world ready for the mark of the beast.
Bills
will be paid electronically. Letters will be via the email -- faster and more efficient than the US
mail. News will be via the internet, instead of printed
newspapers.
Credit card fraud and identity theft will force the government to institute
the mark of the beast to keep track of people.
Did God prophesy about the situation we are living in now?
Revelation 6:8
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed
with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and
with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Revelation 13:16
And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to
receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Revelation 13:17
And that none might buy or sell, but he that has the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Halloween -- its history and
its meaning |
The
word Halloween is derived from All Hallow Even (All Saints' Eve) The roots of Halloween go back to
the ancient Celts. October 31 was the day of Samhain, a festival
in which the pagan Druids honored the dead. They believed that on
this night evil spirits were permitted to wander around and haunt
people. To appease the demons, the Celtic priests held sacrifices,
lit bonfires, cast spells and made charms. Does this remind you of Halloween
parties nowadays?
To
bring these pagan masses into the "Christian" fold, the
Catholic church moved All Saints' Day, a holiday
for honoring early Christian martyrs, from a day in May to November 1,
thus associating it with the old Druid death rituals of October 31.
This move was done during the 7th century AD. By the 10th century
AD, the day was named All Soul's Day, in honor of all the dead, not just
the early Christian Saints. The association with the pagan holiday
of the Celts became even stronger
If you notice, Halloween decorations
typically display images connected with demonic forces such as: witches, black
cats, bats, spiders, vampires, skulls, werewolves, and ghosts. Around the time of Halloween,
pumpkins are in
the yards of many commercial businesses, even in churches... waiting for the
customers to carve them into spooky and evil looking faces.
According to British folk tales, the
Jack-o-lantern represents the
soul of a deceased person who was barred from both heaven and hell and was
condemned to roam the earth with his lantern
Is it wrong to have fun during Halloween?
Is it wrong to dress as a witch, a ghost, or a demon? What does
God say about this?
Jeremiah 10:2
Thus says the LORD, "Do not learn the way of the nations,
and do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens although the nations are terrified by them;
Deuteronomy 18:9
When you enter the land which the LORD your God gives you, you
shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations.
Deuteronomy 18:10
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his
daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who
practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,
Deuteronomy 18:11
or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls
up the dead.
Deuteronomy 18:12
For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and
because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out
before you.
