Movies are awesome. Still, we do need to understand their message. Often, the Hollywood message is the opposite of what God says. 

Please do remember that 90% of what is in our brains comes in through our eyes. Oh yes, we must be cautious with what we can let in. For example, if we look at bad images, then bad thoughts can creep in. Brothers and sisters, we need to not give up and not give in. It is important that we exercise some care.

Matthew 5:28
But I say unto you, everyone who looks upon a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Stay alert as Satan is a roaring lion who does seek to devour us. He will use any method that he can. Ah, yes, that would include movies.

The goal is for you to slowly depart from the true path and embrace what the world has and its forbidden fruits.

Frankly, this is a slow process. Most people do not realize how far away they have drifted from the true path until it is too late and they are thrown into the lake of fire, where they will spend eternity in agony.

I have found that some people will say that they do not have enough time to go to church, but they do go see a movie. Funny how that is. Honestly, not all movies are evil, but we must stay vigilant, as some are.

People, we spend way too much time looking at our screens. It is not just your TV screen. For example, there is also the computer screen. Let us not forget the tiny phone screen.

Face-to-face communication is going away. In fact, we are living in a society where a lot of young men spend their time playing computer games. 

I believe that interacting with the real world is better than looking at a computer screen. This might seem hypocritical, as I have a web page. Still, we do need to do more exercise.

Eating good food, such as fruits and vegetables, is important, as is exercising. I know of one person who won the lottery; this young man would spend all day playing computer games. Also, he would order pizza. OK, so he gained one hundred pounds in one year.

There are so many parks we can go to. Being outside is pure joy. I do hope that most people will think about the beautiful world that God has given us.

 

Sadly, when we look at the newspaper, the stories are scary. Oh wow, there are a lot of serious crimes. It is no wonder that people want to stay inside where they feel safe or secure.

It is the same... like when we look at our TV screen. Basically, there is a lot of tragic depressing news. Also, it gets worse every year.

Sadly, we are living in Satan's world now. Christ says that we should pray:

Matthew 6:9-10
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Remember that God's will is being done in heaven, but not yet on earth because Satan has not been taken and put in prison.
