Don't be a fool

God does not like fools and we will go over some reasons.

Matthew 25:1-2
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise.

God accepts those that are wise. However, we see that he says to the fools - I don't know you.

Matthew 25:12
But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Please try to be wise. God says that if fools would shut up... they might be thought of as wise.

Proverbs 17:28
Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.

There is a saying. Stupidity flows from the mouth of a fool like water from a river.

God says:

Ecclesiastes 5:3
For a dream comes through much effort, And a fool’s voice is known by his many words.

Identifiers

The following help you to identify if some one is a fool or wise.

CONTINUITY

People who are fools tend to think that everything stays the same. For example, they complain when getting back from a vacation that the grass grew.

This should surprise no one. Things tend to deteriorate not improve. Most incompetents do not realize that swimming pools need constant applications of chemicals such as chlorine to not turn green.

IMPULSIVE

Look before you leap is good advice, but fools do not heed any. They prefer to madly rush in. Obviously, they do not think about the consequences.

RECURRENCE

Fools make the same mistake over an over an over again. Sadly, they do not learn from their own experiences.

AWARENESS

Most fools lack basic awareness. For example, red cardinals will peck at my car's rear view mirrors. They do not understand what they are seeing. My dog will bark angrily at the house mirror.

Actually, human fools are very similar or nearly the same. For example, a fool will say, "Put that box over there." I will ask, "Which box and where?" The fool will say, "Next to the other box." The problem is that there are over twenty boxes in the garage. Fools think they are very wise. Actually, this is known as the Dunning Kruger effect.

AUTHORITIES

Notice that fools tend not to respect neither laws nor authorities and this behavior can have serious consequences. For example, they will run a red light or a stop sign. When confronted they will say - "I can do what ever I want and you need to shut up."
