Jesus warned us that in order to follow Him we would have to carry a cross.

Luke 14:26-27
If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

What does that mean? Not only there would be hardships, but we would be despised by family and friends.  This is the case nowadays with Muslims who want to convert to Christianity.  They have no support from their immediate family or friends; they become outcasts, persecuted, tortured and put to death.
 
Muslims are not only persecuting those who turn back from worshiping Allah.  Muslims are on a worldwide war against the rest of humanity.  The recent beheading of Christians in Ethiopia is just one more drop in the bucket.  Christians are the target in Muslim countries such as Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, etc.

Listen to the news on Muslim countries and you will hear about unrest, persecution, torture and assassination of the civil population, especially of Christians, perpetrated by Muslim extremists. The reason Muslims do not attack Jews in those countries is that there are none left. The Jews were the first object of Muslim hate. An attack on Israel, though, has been already prophesied by the Almighty God YHVH.

Zechariah 14:2-4
For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.

What nations are coming to attack Jerusalem? That would be the Muslims, who have been attacking the Jews for many years. Muslims believe that they now have enough power. However, God will deal with them. He says:

Zechariah 14:5-7
You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him! In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.

God will destroy those who attack the Jews. They will be no more.

Zechariah 14:10-12
All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin's Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's wine presses. People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security. Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouths.

Look at the nations that surround Israel and you will find that they all have one thing in common: they are all Muslim.

Zechariah 12:3
It will happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.

Obviously, the nations that are gathered against Israel are Muslim nations that worship a different God, Allah.

Before Mohammed was born, the ancient Arabs were worshipping Allah the God of the moon. He was the head of 360 pagan gods that they did worship. Well, even today we see a crescent moon at the top of every mosque.

According to Walid Shoebat, "The Arab population was Polytheistic in orientation. The male and female spirits existed in trees; stones, rivers and mountains, and so they worshiped a various number of different “gods”. Sacred magic stones were believed to protect the tribes. The Quraysh tribe had adopted a black stone as their tribal magic stone and had set it up at the Kabah. This magical black stone was kissed when people came on their pilgrimage to worship at the Kabah. It was no doubt an asteroid/meteorite that had fallen out of the sky and thus was viewed as being divine in some way." 

Walid continues explaining that "the Quraysh tribe (Muhammad’s tribe), which was one of the more larger and more important tribes, saw to it that there was an idol for every religion at the pagan temple called the Kabah (another version of the Roman Parthenon – the temple dedicated to all the Gods.) The word Kabah is Arabic for “cube” and refers to the square stone temple in Mecca where the idols were worshipped. The Ka’bah was a cube shaped construction which was about 50 feet high with sides 40 feet wide enclosing an empty, windowless room with marble walls."

Therefore, Allah is a pagan Arabian moon god which the Muslims worship; in contrast, YHVH is the name of the creator of the heavens and the earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the God we Christians and Jews worship.

Remember, that the first commandment is - you shall have no other Gods before me.

Exodus 20:3
Thou shall have no other gods before me.

The future  reserved for these unrepentant sinners such as those Muslim terrorists who are now torturing and assassinating Christians is to be thrown by Almighty God into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8
But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and drug users, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
