HELL

A lot of modern Christians say that um HELL is not real and that it is a metaphor and not a real place where people are tormented and in agony. All of us go to heaven - wow.  Then why did Jesus Christ have to come and die for us? It makes  no sense.

A religious leader told me that a just God would not torture people in hell and that HELL was just a fantasy designed to scare us.

Trust me on this one. God talks about a lake of fire. Here is what He says:

Rev 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Actually, some people say that only the devil, the beast, and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, but I don't think so. Here is my reason.

Revelation 21:8-10
But cowards who turn back from following me, and those who are unfaithful to me, and the corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those conversing with demons, and idol worshipers and all liars—their doom is in the Lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the Second Death.

Please remember the parable of Lazarus and the rich man:

Luke 16:19-31
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Brothers and sisters, let us strive to do what God tell us... Often, this is not so easy, but we must understand that our actions carry consequences.

God does not like people who mistreat others and He deals harshly with those who are evil and full of sin.

Do think of God as a kind father who loves us, so when you hurt one of his little children, you cause Him pain. God says:

Romans 12:19
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

Please do not worry... like about the evil people who mistreat you. They will spend  eternity in the lake of fire - forever and ever.

Our Lord cannot take evil people to the good place as it would not be good any more. Instead, they go to the other place and there they will pay for all their sins.

Religious leaders have told me that um HELL is not real and that a nice God would never send anyone there, but that is nonsense.

God warns us that we will all be judged on judgment day and receive our own rewards for our actions.

Matthew 12:36
I tell you, that on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,

I hope that will will all achieve success... truly, in overcoming our sins. To fall is easy. However, we must get up once more.

God does not wish that any should perish.

2 PETER 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Let us strive to do what God tell us.

After all, we are His children and He loves us. That is why the Holy Bible says:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Avoid

If we want to go to the good place, then there are certain places to avoid such as bars and casinos. These places are infested with evil spirits that want to lead you away.

Here is what our God YHVH says:

1 Corinthians 15:33
Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.

Fellow Christians, it is not a good idea to hang out in bad areas. There is too much negative energy.

Here is what I say: if the place is full of sin, don't go in. Otherwise, you will eventually join in.

Remember what Jesus told us:

Matthew 7:13-14
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Most people do not like to eat their veggies. However, they do indeed love to eat ice cream. It is the same with sin.

Kids don't want to drive an old economy car. Instead, they prefer to driven an expensive brand new race car. The more exotic the better is what we see.

People who do bad things often do have a lot of money, but there is a heavy price they pay. It is spending their eternity in the lake of fire - forever and ever.

Well, they probably would rather not be a king pin. Ah yes, if they know the actual cost, but there we are.

God does not like the proud, but to the humble He shall show mercy.

Matthew 23:12
For whosoever shall exalt himself will be humbled, and whosoever shall humble himself will be exalted.

There are some entities that are not humble, for example, the greatest deceiver is also known as the most proud one.

I believe that this phrase does refer to the fallen angel known as Lucifer whose pride destroyed him and who is without a doubt the greatest deceiver ever. Pride will blind us to our faults, many as they are. I look forward to living in a much better world than this one. The Holy Bible says:

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like an ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.

Oh yes, I do look forward to living in a world where there are no predators or prey. Where animals do not destroy each other, but live in harmony and peace.

Let us try to obey our Lord Jesus Christ and live with no sin. It is better to be humble and to see things as they really are.
