There was on February 27, 2010 one of the biggest earthquakes in recorded history; a terrible 8.8 quake hit Chile. Just the day before, on  February 26, there was a 7.0 earthquake in Japan. On March 4, 2010 a 6.4 earthquake struck Taiwan, and on March 11 a 6.0 earthquake hit Turkey. Of course we know about January 12, 2010 when a 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti killing over 100,000 people.

There are now more earthquakes than ever. In fact, after almost two weeks of constant tremors on March 11, 2010 there was another 7.2 earthquake in the same area of Chile. This is not normal. We are seeing more seismic activity than ever in areas that are heavily populated.

Well, God says there will be earthquakes in many places.

Earthquakes are a sign. God is letting us know what is coming.

Mark 13:8
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

Matt 24:6-8
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Birth pangs come before the birth takes place. As you get closer to the birth, the pangs increase in intensity and get closer together. This means earthquakes will increase in severity and frequency. It is not a good idea to live near areas of seismic activity,  especially close to oceans. On August 27th, 1883 the eruption of Krakatoa volcano caused a one hundred foot high tsunami. Expect even bigger quakes in the days to come.

A sign at the opening of the sixth seal is a big earthquake.

Rev 6:12
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Get ready, Messiah Yeshua is coming.
