God
wants us to be wise. Remember the parable of the ten virgins. The Holy Bible tells us that five virgins were fools and five virgins were wise. Matthew 25:1-4 Children are taught in schools that God is not real and that we evolved from apes. Also, teachers who dare to talk about Jesus Christ are fired and sent away. Notice that if you talk about Buddha or Krishna, this is not the case. Friends, we see Christianity is slowly fading away. Harvard might be very anti-religious today, but it was as a seminary once. Yes, this school was used to train Puritan clergy many years ago. Colleges deliver relentless attacks on people of faith and claim that we must believe in science. Basically, we are told that religion is a lie and the truth is in science. Well, I do wonder what these scientists will say on Judgment Day.
Churches also provide fellowship in a sparsely populated, enormous universe. People feel empty without God and know deep within their hearts that something important is missing. |
Let us be honest with you. There is too much sin. Dark days are ahead for us. God talks in the bible about the end times and a great falling away. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 God wants us to become more aware. The last days are near. First comes a falling away. Oh yes, we can see that will soon occur. Then comes the man of sin. God refers to him as the son of perdition and we need to get ready as well as prepare.
Psychologists are saying that religion could disappear by 2041 because people are replacing God with possessions. I do not believe that is our case. Still, we do see a dramatic decline in church attendance that some blame on corona virus. Frankly, that is simply an excuse. People do not want to go. Hey, we could also blame high gas prices. Most people do not want to go because they do not want to be reminded that we are sinners. Instead, they prefer to stay home and watch TV or play video games. Please think about what material you are feeding your brain every day and what we see on screens. It is important that we stay ready, as God will come at a moment when we do not expect Him to arrive. |
