Cartoon evil is a little kid that smashes all his toys, starts giggling, and then blames another boy so he can avoid getting a whipping which is what he so deserves, but he chooses instead to lie about his actions to avoid the adverse consequences. The problem is that real evil is often a lot more subtle and sinister in its own manner. Often, we are fooled by the words of evil men. God does warn us. God says: Ephesians 5:6 Please do notice that the wrath of God come upon those people who disobey Him. OK, so we do not want to be in that group. It is best that we listen to what our heavenly father tells us. Also, look at this bible verse: Romans 1:18
Hear what the Holy Bible tells us: 1 John 3:8 Let us remember that being evil carries a high price. God will judge all of us. Also understand that there are two groups. Those that try to follow God and those who do not. Both groups are at odds with each other as we see. Proverbs 29:27 |
Real good is your parents telling you to eat vegetables instead of candy and that veggies are good for you. However, being little, you complain that candy tastes great and veggies taste gross. That is how it is with sin. Most people would not disobey God if it brought about instant pain. Instead, we see sin is pleasurable and it is later on... that the consequences enter our awareness. A diet of sweet candy does not kill you instantly, but it slowly destroys you. Basically, we need to remember that we are sinners. God needs to forgive us.
Doing what is right might seem quite hard at first, but the road gets more comfortable later on. Please do understand that we are judged on our actions.
Fellow colleagues, our actions here on earth determine where we will spend eternity, so it is important that we do what is right and try to obey God as best as we can. If I do make a mistake, I try to learn from it so I do not make the same terrible mistake again. Admitting you made a mistake is not so easy. Most of us will try to blame another person. That is wrong. Instead we need to ask God to guide us. Let us ask God to give us... the strength that is necessary. He can help us overcome our sins. |
