Hello everyone, a new year makes us focus on TIME more. I believe that um TIME is a precious resource. In fact, we need to use our TIME in a wise manner.

For example, I used to work on a cruise ship when I was young. It was a lot of fun seeing new ports and going overseas. However, the cruise line lived off of people's vices. Sadly, the bar was our number one generator of income. Number two was our casino. I began to wonder if I might do something else that was more productive and did not depend on people living in sin.

Later on I was making twice as much working for a trucking company. I felt better about what I was doing, as we would ship food to different places and that is better in my opinion.

After that I worked for a vitamin company, which was even better and things did improve for me. God does not like it when we promote sin.

 

Back when I worked for the cruise line I can still remember hosting a Christian cruise. Nobody went to our bar or our casino. Basically, we did lose a lot of money.

It was a wake up call for me.

Do understand that God wants us to be a positive force in our universe.

Sadly, we waste a lot of time on our phones now. I still remember when cellular telephones were enormous. Back in the 80's I was able to get one. They were super expensive. Also, I had to pay 60 cent a minute for each phone call - wow.

Back then there were few towers and very limited coverage. Dead areas were common. I had a map of all the dead areas near me.

The phones quickly became smaller and more affordable, which is nice. However, we now depend on our apps.

Frankly, we do spend a lot of time looking at tiny cell phone screens.
