Taking Christ out
of CHRISTmas

There
is a worldwide effort to delete the word "Christ" from
Christmas.
Aside from the fact of
the correct date for Christmas, see the Dec.
2002 newsletter, there is an insidious attempt to remove any
mention of Christ from a celebration that has Christ in its very name.
What is more perplexing
is the fact that it is happening in the United States of America, a
country that has been, since its inception, founded on the principle of
religious freedom, a nation where God fearing people from all countries
came to worship YHVH free from persecution.
One
example happened in Jupiter, Florida this Christmas season. "The "Little Drummer Boy," "Angels We Have Heard on High," and "How Great Our Joy" were among a number of Christian-themed songs cut from the concert at Independence Middle School in Jupiter, Florida. A complaint from a Jewish student prompted the school to censor its program, a move that has angered parents who felt the excised Christmas carols were perfectly appropriate.
Jupiter resident Linda Cameron feels anti-Christian bigotry has gotten out of control this Christmas season. "I think it's a very sad state of affairs that we have come to," she says, "for a country that came to fruition with the dreams and hopes of worshipping freely, that now we've come to a point where our founding religion is the only religion [being excluded.] It almost seems as though they're trying to eradicate Christianity altogether."" http://www.crosswalk.com/news/1303366.html It
is now illegal for government officials to say "merry
Christmas;" instead they say "happy holidays." The
"Christmas tree" is now called "holiday tree;" "Christmas parties" are now called "winter break
parties," and they have changed the phrase "Christmas vacation" to
"holiday vacation." In
Plano, TX a school has prohibited students from using the colors red and
green. "School officials have gone so far as to prohibit students from wearing red and green at their ‘winter break’ parties because they claim they are Christmas colors. Even the plates and napkins must be white. The district’s policy is ludicrous to even the most common observer.”
In addition to banning Christmas colors, school officials have reportedly prohibited students from exchanging candy canes and pencils with religious messages on them, using reindeer symbols, or writing “Merry Christmas” on greeting cards to U.S. soldiers because the phrase might “offend someone.” The district has even applied its policy to parents involved in school activities, barring them from exchanging “religious” Christmas items with other parents. http://www.mcjonline.com/news/04a/20041216d.shtml The
change has come about because they are afraid they might offend someone. Yes,
the United States has become a nation of people who cannot stand for
what they believe. It has fallen
into the ridiculous spectacle of banning candy canes, and making it illegal to use
the colors green and red because they remind people of Christmas. As

talk about Christ might offend someone, so everything that reminds
anyone of Christ is being erased. Not
only do they want to get rid of Christ, but they consider reading the Holy
Bible offensive. On October 10, 2004 a group of
Christians were arrested for doing just that. The Christians were arrested on October 10 for praying, singing, and reading scripture during an annual “gay pride” event known as “Outfest” in Philadelphia.
Tuesday a city prosecutor argued to a judge that Bible verses are “fighting” words. The charges include three felony (criminal conspiracy, ethnic intimidation, and
riot) and five misdemeanor charges. If convicted, they could face up to 47 years in prison. http://www.afa.net/clp/ReleaseDetail.asp?id=79 It is not offensive to have a
"gay parade," but it is offensive to quote the Holy
Bible in front of "gay" people. This
age was prophesied by the apostle Jude. Read his words on the
right side, and prepare yourself for the difficult times ahead..

Jude 1:3
Beloved, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I
found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to put up a hard fight for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

For there are certain men [liberals] who crept in secretly, even they who were of old written of beforehand to this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into

these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
Jude 1:8
Yet in like manner these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and
blaspheme glorious ones.
Jude 1:9
But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses,
did not dare to bring against him a judgment of blasphemy, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!"
Jude 1:10
But these blaspheme of whatever things they don't know. But what they understand naturally, like the
irrational animals, in these things they are corrupting themselves.
Jude 1:11
Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, and rushed into the
erroneous course of Balaam for reward, and destroyed themselves in Korah's rebellion.
Jude 1:12
These are hidden rocks in your charity-feasts; feeding themselves well, without fear shepherding themselves; clouds without water, by winds carried about; trees autumnal, without fruit, twice dead, rooted up;
Jude 1:13
wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the
gloom of the darkness has been reserved forever.
Jude 1:14-15
To these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,
to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the
shocking things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
Jude 1:16
These are murmurers, complainers at fate, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks proud things), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage.
Jude 1:17
But you, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 1:18
They said to you that "In the LAST TIME there will be players
in sports, walking after their own ungodly lusts."
Jude 1:19
These are they who make separations, animalistic, not having the Spirit.
Jude 1:20
But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves to the holiest of you
[with] faith praying in the Holy Spirit.
Jude 1:21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
