Sin

God wants us to be holy and avoid sin.

1 Peter 1:16
because it has been written: “Become holy, because I am holy”;

Certainly, our many actions do indeed reflect upon who we are. Often, an atheist will say - "Hey, I asked your God to cure my son. However, Jesus did zero." Well, we should know that God does not listen to sinners.

John 9:31
We know that God does not hear sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

It is not that God cannot save us. After all, our Lord has enormous power. Often, our sins are in the way. It is like they block our access.

Isaiah 59:1-2
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

Remember, to do what God says. I have found that we can substitute many things - for example, doing harmless things that are fun for terrible things that are sin. Also, we should steer clear of places where sin is common.

Jesus is our answer. He will give us strength so we can over come sin. Also, we should never enable others to commit a sin. It is important that we learn to say no.

Sadly, a lot of millennial couples are postponing marriage. This is happening all over. People see children as a burden and not a joy.

You should understand that children are our future and with no little ones... there is no future for us. God does warn us. He says:

Isaiah 13:11-12
I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will end the haughtiness of the arrogant and lay low the pride of the ruthless. I will make man scarcer than pure gold, and mankind rarer than the gold of Ophir.

Dark Decades

Fellow brothers and sisters, there are coming some dark decades for us. Most people do not know what is around our corner. I do hope that God will help us. He says:

Revelation 3:10
Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you from the hour of testing that is coming to the whole world to test those living on the earth.

Please understand what is coming soon. Sadly, it is a major thunderstorm that is coming. Ah yes, a hard rain is near. Black clouds at the horizon are getting real close to us. Certainly, the situation is worrisome.

Unemployment is rising. Do expect things to get even worse. Right now we are in an economic crisis. It could turn into a massive recession. People are having to take cuts in pay.

Also, I predict a rise in gas prices. Politicians think this is good as it could slow down global warming. However, it could crush our poor. Rich people simply do not care.

Well, I can tell you that what is coming - is scary. Better that we fasten our seat belts as there is a bumpy road ahead for us. Expect things to get a lot worse.

Let me add, I do not see an increase in REAL wages. A lot of work is being sent over seas. Expect this trend to continue as companies out source.

God warns us. He tell us that there will be war and rumors of war. However, the end has not yet come.

Matthew 24

1As Jesus left the temple and was walking away, His disciples came up to Him to point out its buildings.

2“Do you see all these things?” He replied. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

4Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, 11and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.

12Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
