| As the time approaches for the events prophesied in the Bible to be fulfilled, we must diligently look into the scriptures for the details of the prophecies.
The Bible has identified a leopard-like beast that will rule in the very near future. This beast seems to be a man endowed with a great ability to speak, allowing the masses to be swayed by his
words, a man similar to
Napoleon or Hitler.
Revelation 13:5-6 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things, ...but among the things this beast speaks are blasphemies. Revelation 13:5-6 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. |

Therefore either this person is not behaving as a Christian, or outright, he is NOT A CHRISTIAN. If we study the bible carefully, we could identify this man... even before he takes power ... because the leopard-like beast is identified by a number that we are supposed to count.
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the NUMBER OF A MAN; and his number is six hundred and sixty six.
This evil man will continue in power for 42 months (3 and 1/2 years)... short of a 4 year presidency... and then another beast (government leader) rises.
Revelation 13:12
And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose DEADLY WOUND was healed.
It seems that the leopard beast is attacked, but with the help of modern science
recovers from the deadly wound. The second leader seems to be in power while the first one is recuperating, and in its interim government it is able to perform great miracles.
Revelation 13:14 And deceives them that dwell on the earth by means of the signs which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and lived.
Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give spirit [life] to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be KILLED.
This 2nd beast, therefore, works in unison with the 1st
beast - probably because the same government party is in office.
We should notice though, that after the first beast is wounded, the government becomes more restrictive... there is more "security," and probably martial law.
Any citizen that would dare to voice a disagreement would be termed unpatriotic and flat out terrorist. The persecutions will then start, as has always been the case whenever totalitarian regimes are in power. We must notice that the persecutions will be mainly of Christians.
Revelation
13:7And it was given unto him to make war with the SAINTS, and to
overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people
and tongue and nation.
Revelation 13:8 And
ALL that dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose name hath not been
written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that
hath been slain.
People who worship the Beast are not Christians; they are not in the book of life. Christians are inscribed in the book of life and sealed with the Seal of God. David has a reference to people who are not written in the book of life.
Psalms 69:28 May they be blotted out of the book of life And may they not be recorded with the righteous.
Those that obey the Beast will be tormented with fire and brimstone, similar to the leopard beast, and the false prophet, which will be thrown into the lake of fire.
Revelation 14:9-10 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
In contrast, those who refuse the Mark of the Beast will be victorious.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and them that come off victorious from the beast, and from his image, and from the number of his name, standing by the sea of glass, having harps of God.
Be alert, these
prophecies are about to happen. Make sure you are counted with the righteous.
